STORYTELLIT CUSTOMERS
When you become a Storytellit customer, we may ask you to provide information such as your name, business name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. We refer to this as “Customer Information.”
Customers may also be asked to provide payment information, such as credit card or other billing information, for purposes of processing payments and managing their account.
As part of Storytellit’s services, customers and partners may also provide information relating to their own customers, prospects, contacts, or audiences. We refer to this as “Consumer Information.” This information may be uploaded, transferred, synchronized, or otherwise provided to systems used by Storytellit so that we can deliver services on our customers’ behalf.
Customer Information and Consumer Information are collected and processed for purposes related to providing our services, managing customer relationships, supporting service delivery, and fulfilling our obligations under applicable customer agreements and Terms of Use.
HOW STORYTELLIT COLLECTS INFORMATION
Storytellit may collect personal information through our website, hosted platforms, forms, communications, service delivery processes, and information provided directly by customers or their authorized partners.
Collecting this information allows Storytellit to provide, manage, support, and improve our services and to make interactions with Storytellit more convenient and productive.
Storytellit does not sell, rent, or disclose personally identifiable Customer Information or Consumer Information in ways that are materially different from those described in this Privacy Policy, authorized or requested by the customer, necessary to provide our services, or required by law.
HOW STORYTELLIT MAY USE INFORMATION
Storytellit may use Customer Information and Consumer Information to:
- Provide, manage, and support our services;
- Communicate with customers regarding their accounts or services;
- Process billing and payments;
- Deliver services to consumers or audiences on behalf of our customers;
- Analyze trends and usage;
- Administer and maintain our websites, platforms, and services;
- Monitor the performance and use of our services;
- Improve our products, services, processes, and customer experience; and
- Protect the security, integrity, and operation of our systems and services.
Storytellit may also aggregate or de-identify information so that it does not reasonably identify a particular individual or customer. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
Storytellit may use third-party technology providers, platforms, and service providers to help us operate our business and deliver services to customers. Information may be processed through these services when necessary to provide Storytellit’s services or fulfill a customer’s requested services. Storytellit does not authorize these providers to use personally identifiable information for purposes unrelated to the services they provide to Storytellit, except where otherwise permitted or required by law.
CHOICE & OPT-OUT
Storytellit provides Customers and Consumers with appropriate opportunities to opt out of marketing communications or uses of personally identifiable information where an opt-out is applicable.
Marketing emails sent through Storytellit or on behalf of Storytellit customers may include an unsubscribe option or other mechanism for requesting that future communications stop.
Certain administrative, transactional, or service-related communications may still be necessary in connection with an active customer account or requested service.
UPDATING OR CORRECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION
Customers may update personal information, or information relating to their customers, through the applicable Storytellit platform or by contacting Storytellit.
Where Storytellit systems synchronize Consumer Information with a customer’s own database or systems, updates, corrections, or opt-out requests made through those systems may also be reflected within Storytellit’s systems as part of the synchronization process.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that information they provide to Storytellit is accurate and that they have the appropriate authority or permission to provide Consumer Information for use in connection with Storytellit’s services.
DATA SECURITY
Storytellit takes reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational precautions designed to protect Customer Information and Consumer Information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.
These safeguards may include commonly accepted security practices and technologies such as access controls, firewalls, encryption, monitoring, and other security measures appropriate to the systems and information involved.
While Storytellit works to protect the information entrusted to us, no method of electronic transmission, storage, or information security can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
DATA RETENTION
Storytellit retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain customer relationships, fulfill legitimate business and operational purposes, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Information may also be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated when it is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes.
